We have an email that is checked regularly to support our families through the registration process. Please email us at registration@goodwinmagnetsystem.org with any questions.

Although we are open for our current scholars, at this time, our school is not open to outside visitors. Please contact us at registration@goodwinmagnetsystem.org to make an appointment to drop off paperwork. 

After you have accepted your RSCO seat, we will send you your login information with an access code to Powerschool Enrollment. You will need to use the link and access code to begin the online Powerschool Enrollment registration. 

The deadline for registration is two weeks after you are notified of your child's placement in our school.

Great question!! We need all of our families to provide residency verification forms. For our Hartford residents we need proof of residency with a lease/mortgage statement, and a utility invoice (gas, electric, water), or a non utility invoice (cellphone, internet, cable) or proof of government benefits, a recent paystub. All of these documents must be within the last three months. The documents must be full page view. 
For our residents who do not reside in Hartford, the residency forms is linked here. 
 

Please ensure you have successfully uploaded those documents to Powerschool Enrollment or via email to registration@goodwinmagnetsystem.org.

CT River Academy contracts our transportation through CREC and Dattco. If you reside in the CREC transportation region (non East Hartford), you will receive bus information through them in August. You do not need to contact CREC prior to August. If you have questions their phone number is 860-524-4077. If you reside in East Hartford, Dattco is your primary transportation provider. Dattco will contact you in August with your bus stop. Dattco's phone number for our East Hartford residents is 860-904-5497.  

ALL RESIDENCY FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED TO RECEIVE TRANSPORTATION.

CT River Academy staff will be in touch with your family. We want to open our building this summer so you can meet the staff and see our facility prior to the start of the school year! 

We often take students who have been waitlisted. Please confirm your contact information is accurate on the RSCO website and the school will be in touch with you if a seat becomes available.

All our incoming 9th graders will be joining us for a summer orientation program in July. You will have a choice of July 11-15 or July 18-22. This is a full day, full week program and transportation for our Hartford and East Hartford scholars will be provided.

Yes, a valid physical within the previous 24 months is mandatory for enrollment. Health forms can be sent to registration@goodwinmagnetsystem.org.
