Manufacturing and Engineering

PATHWAY PARTICIPANTS 
will begin with Advanced Manufacturing Technology, a class that introduces scholars to the production tools and processes that refine raw materials and turn them into useful products; an exploration of careers, skills, and sub-industries within manufacturing is offered in a collegiate level course, BMM100: Introduction to Manufacturing.

PATHWAY COMPLETERS 
pass the remaining core manufacturing courses, earning college credit from Goodwin University while developing proficiency in blueprint reading, manufacturing math, precision measurement, lean principles, and Master CAM & CNC machining; scholars are awarded an Advanced Placement CNC Machining Certificate by Goodwin University, as well as a certificate from the Department of Labor that is recognized as equivalent to 200 hours towards an industry-level apprenticeship.

PATHWAY ACCELERATORS 
will participate in our pre-apprenticeship program, doing paid work for local area manufacturing companies to gain invaluable experience in the industry.
